  2. When first logging onto the website i was confused as to where the actual blog site was. After looking finding the link to the blog site I liked how the blog site had a professional style to it. Reading through the biography I found that the author is a very credited writer. His blogs are not very controversial, and they are presented in a formal matter. The audience that the author is attracting would be adults who are looking for information on the most recent advertisements and products. It seems as if he is trying to appeal to the advertising community to help them with their advertising techniques.

  3. When i first saw the blog site i thought it was a little blank. although it doesnt look good, david has won awards for 2009 for best webby. My opinion is that the author thinks that his audience is a higher class of bloggers. He is sometimes sarcastic, but a very positive author. i like that he is a really get to the point author, and doesnt write alot of crap. The is a very effective blog, especially if it is standing out among other and winning awards

  4. I liked the change of pace with this blog compared to the others, both in the format and content. Along with company's advertisements, the author also discusses general news about the companies and their policies and stuff. Also this blog talked about Oprah as well... she is a baron of advertising, apparently.

  5. This blog seems a bit more professional, so I would agree that he is probably writing for those who work in the advertising business. I think he is, more than anything else, trying to be informative. He does use some wit and some sarcasm, but both are done very well. I think his blog is very effective for his intended audience, evidenced by the quote by Typepad on the first page the link takes you to. I also had to click around a bit before I could find the actual blog, but once I found it I enjoyed reading it. So even though his blog may not be intended for the general public, it is still interesting information for the average person.

  6. The blog like Clarice said does seem to be more professional then the other blogs presented. Therefore, it definitely attracts an older audience. The author is very informative of what he writes and puts his evidence in such ways right to the point that makes it easy to read and catch up on what is happening in society that you would never hear about. The blog proves to be very effective and interesting to read. I enjoy it and am glad it was posted since I don't think I would have ever stumbled upon it.

  7. This blog is different in that he seems to just be reporting news instead of analyzing advertisements. I feel like the things he talks about can be found anywhere else if you just search for it. I understand his purpose is to put these things out there for people to find easily, but it doesn't seem like a whole lot of effort needs to be put in to doing this. Also, I don't find him to be very 'witty'. His porn comment about Sears almost made me close the page, not to mention the typo in the first sentence didn't make a great impression either. Makes me wonder what he won awards for...

  8. I agree with Clarice. This blog is more professional than the others we viewed before. The author comments on the ads in a serious tone. He makes his point clear and it's easy for us to follow him. He focuses on the commercial strategies and it will definitely attract the people working in business circle. In all this is a very effective blog and it's worth looking it carefully.

  9. I also agree with Clarice. It does seem more professional and structure. It posts more about the news than advertising. I really don't like this blog at all, and it is very boring.
